CSU Emblem

Since its founding in 1962 by Sara Mae and Larry Berman, the Cambridge Sports Union has been one of New England's premier athletic clubs. The 180 women and men who make up the club range in experience and ability from beginners to nationally competitive athletes.

The running section organizes regular workouts for its members, coordinates team racing activities, and puts on a number of social events throughout the year. For those who are either new to the running scene or the New England area, CSU's friendly, collegial style fosters an excellent environment in which to meet training partners with similar goals and abilities.

Seeking Runners Interested in CSU's 'Indoor' Winter Track Program
Please email me by Wednesday, August 20th if you would be interested in participating in a CSU Winter Indoor Coached Track Program (14 weeks --- for all levels, speeds & experience of CSUers). If you are not yet a member, this is the perfect time to join.

This winter we have an opportunity to secure an hour of coaching expertise and indoor track time for CSU; however, to do so we will need a minimum of 10-15 runners. Please don’t get stuck on the cost at this point since we are seeking interest levels first & the program cost will decrease with more runners.

Thanks!
Catherine

Race Report: USATF Yankee Homecoming 10M
It was steamy night in Newburyport, consistent with the race's tradition! Ok - who has ran this race when it was a reasonable temperature or humidity?

Cheering crowds lined the streets of Newburyport with hoses, super soakers & impromptu water stations. Some relief came about an hour into the race when a giant cloud screened the sun momentarily providing cool shade. CSU had a great showing at this race and everyone should feel very proud to have a Newburyport Yankee Homecoming 10M completed!!!
